Baking Chocolate Cake

In the weekend, I normally have enough time to cook or bake in my kitchen. Last weekend, I was able to make quiche with mushroom and spinach for my kids and husband. I think next week, I would like to try to bake a cake. Since my kids love chocolate so much, I am thinking to bake chocolate cake. I will try to browse Chocolate Cake Recipe from Internet. I am sure I will find the easy one that I can try immediately in the weekend without having a trouble to find the ingredients.

And normally, after cooking or baking, I will take a picture of the result. Then I can post it on my blog here.

Is Nikon Offering Worldwide Warranty Or Not?

I've been asking my self all the time if I should buy my digital camera here while I am in Asia or just wait until I go to Europe and buy my new digital camera there. My concern is about the warranty. I plan to move back to Europe in the next coming year.

What will happen if I need to get service for my camera that I buy in Asia. Do they have worldwide warranty?

I read on their website Nikon Asia Pasific that the warranty that they offer for their digital camera can be used in the country where we buy the camera. But the lenses and film products from Nikon has worldwide warranty for one year after the purchase.

Now my question is still the same, where should I buy my digital camera. Is it in Europe or here in Asia? Speaking of the warranty, normally warranty of new product will be for one year from the purchase date. So for long term service, I think it does not matter anymore. Don't you think so??

Some friends shared their financial problems with me. Most of them were still new workers in their office, so they don't really get high salaries at this moment. When Will You Grow Up...?

Are you ready to have married life? When you decide to get marry means that you need to be ready to be independent person or at least independent couple. You should be able to manage your own financial situation. And especially if you decide to have a baby, it means that you need to be ready to be parents, either the financial part and other parts.

But I see often here that people are not ready yet to get married but they marry anyway because some of some reasons. Most of them think that they should not get married too late or when they become older (in some case they afraid they will become too old to get married).

Then what will happen next? They are not ready financially to have their own place or space. They don't have enough money for their monthly living costs and what is worst part of the story that they are not well prepared to be parent financially as well.

So what will they do? Of course, they will bother their parents to ask financial aid or help. This is really insane. I really don't like that kind of situation at all and I see it often here.

Saving Energy from Electricity

One more big surprise from my daughter when she mentioned about her new project. She is just five and a half years old now. But she already has quite brilliant idea about saving energy on electricity that we use in the house. She want to turn off the electricity that we don't need during the day and night and check what will be the difference on electricity bill later. If there will be cost saving, she want to know how long she should do that so the amount of the cost saving that she can collect and use for something more useful. What a great idea from a small girl like her. I love her more and more.... :D

Books Are Great Things

Yes, I think I should buy book more often for my kids. My kids learned so much from reading those books. Luckily, they really love to read books. My seven years old daughter even love to read book about human body.

Since my son and daughter love books, I never forget to buy books as presents on any kind of occasions. Birthday, graduation and many more occasion that I can use to buy books for my kids.

Reading books are good for kids. Why? The tradition of reading to children and giving them good books is a healthy pass-time for the kids and helps the personal development that no child should be without.

Reading helps in different areas of a child’s mental health. Because the child spends time looking at good writing and proper spelling and grammar, reading improves writing skills. Young kids who read much may also become more articulate because they are learning the language not simply by hearing it, but by reading it.

Searching for Luxury Bedding

It's time to browse some stuffs online. I know that I still have enough time to do it later but I think I just want to make sure that I will get the right furniture for my house later. I would like to get a better furniture for my sleeping room as well. And I think this time I prefer to get 'luxury bedding for my room. My husband gave me a freedom to choose the style of our new bedroom in our new house later. So I would like to get the bed that I really like.

For me bed is very important especially since we will use it every day to take a break and rest after working hard in the day. So the bed should be good and preferably has comfortable mattress.

A friend of mine mentioned some stores where to find the good bed for our sleeping room. She bought her bed stuffs there and I already saw it when I visited her place. It look so good and I think the prices that she mentioned are still acceptable and affordable for us. That's why I plan to check the stores as well to see if I can find the bed that I want to have.
